About Me

Well hi there! Thanks for popping in.

About Me

So what’s fascinating about my life?

For starters, I landed a philosopher as a husband. I managed to pull this off by finding him in high school and getting him to fall in love with me at an early age. I know, I know. So cute.

About Me

He’s working on his Ph.D and writes his logic-chicken-scratch all over our apartment.

He and I make really good looking children. Go ahead. Judge.

This is Coco. She’s four going on fourteen.

About Me

This is Chaucer. He’s a cross between Winnie the Pooh and the Incredible Hulk. He drives me nuts.

About Me

We live on campus in an apartment the size of a shoe. When we first moved here I freaked out because it was so small and I didn’t think I’d be able to live without my washer/dryer, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. I’m still not quite sure how I get by, but I think losing some of my native control freak has helped.
In my short life I’ve learned that the less control I have the more fascinating, frightening, and fun life can be. Cool alliteration, huh? I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and am learning each day that the only thing I really have control over is my outlook on life.

I like sarcasm, photography, crafts that aren’t too hard to make, good food, funny stories, sweet deals, awkward family photos (you can read about and see ours right here!), and good books. In no particular order.

If you want to get a hold of me you can contact me at my cool, oldschool email address (that was created in high school). Please no spam about enlarging certain areas of the body or asking for money, k?
