Wordful Wednesday: Tea Party

We had a tea party last week.

Wordful Wednesday: Tea Party

It was precious.

Two girls. Two chairs. Two cupcakes. One tea-pot…full of milk.

It was a celebration of sorts. Coco missed her dear friend’s 3rd birthday party.

So we put together a party of our own.

“Girl Time,” Coco calls it. It’s a tradition she and I started where we drink coffee from tiny espresso cups that Matt bought us in Rome.

I think we might have started a new tradition with this whole tea-party shindig. It was just too much fun.

It might have only lasted for about 15 minutes.

They might have clobbered each other after an hour of disputing rights over baby dolls and blocks. There might have been tears.

But at the end of the day, they’re just great friends. I’m so thankful that Coco has such a sweet, funny, and wonderful friend. It’s truly a joy to witness “girl time” happen among three year olds.

Oh, how I loved this. Right down to the crying and the clobbering. What three year-old tea party is complete without those elements?

Remember the tea party Tiffany and I did for you and Kirsten? It was so much fun and probably the one tea party I’ve put on in my life since I live in boy world. Such sweet pictures and memories!

That is possibly THE most adorable thing I’ve seen in a long time. What a sweet moment to be able to share with your daughter.
